What this is

A tool that records a public web page scrolling and gives you back a video file. It is paid for with credits, and new accounts are given some. All of it is provided as-is, with no guarantee of availability or of any particular result — if it matters that a video exists by a deadline, make it early.

Your account

You sign in with Google. The account is yours, it is for one person, and what happens under it is your responsibility. We can suspend an account that is being used to abuse the service or anybody else, and we will say why if we do.

Credits

The service is pay-as-you-go. A new account is granted 200 credits once, and further credits are bought in packs: Starter is $5 for 200, Creator is $12 for 500, and Studio is $19 for 1,100. Prices are in US dollars. There is no subscription and nothing renews. Every feature is available on every account — credits determine how much you render, not what you may render.

Paying, spending and refunds

Polar is the merchant of record: they take the payment and their terms cover the transaction. Credits are added to your account when the payment is confirmed, and they do not expire. **Credits are non-refundable** and cannot be exchanged for money. They are spent when you start an export, at the cost shown before you press the button; if an export fails because of a problem on our side, the credits it reserved are returned to your account automatically.

What you may record

Only pages you own or are otherwise permitted to capture and reuse. The video will contain that page's content, including any text, images and branding on it, and you are responsible for having the right to use them. Do not use this service to reproduce content you have no licence to, or to impersonate anyone.

Fair use of the service

Ten renders every fifteen minutes per network address, whatever your balance. Do not attempt to bypass it, to point the tool at private infrastructure, or to use it to place load on a third party's site. The rate limit is there so one visitor cannot occupy the queue, and it clears itself.

Your video

We claim no rights over the videos you produce. The file is deleted about an hour after it is made and we hold no copy you can come back for, so download anything you want to keep.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of this service, including from a video being unavailable, incomplete or inaccurate. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you have paid us in the last twelve months.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms, and we may change what an export costs in credits. The date at the top of this page is when the terms last moved, and the version you are reading is the one that applies. A change to pricing never affects credits you have already spent, and the cost of any export is always the figure shown before you press Export.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes go to the courts of Delhi. If you use this as a consumer somewhere that gives you stronger protections, nothing here takes those away. Payment disputes are between you and Polar, under their terms.
