Who we are
Website Scroll Video is run from Delhi, India. If you have a question about anything on this page, or about what we hold on you, write to support@websitescrollvideo.com and a person will answer.
What we store
Without an account: the address you submit, the settings you chose, when you asked, and a hash of the IP address it came from. Signed in, we also hold the name, email address and profile picture Google gives us, your credit balance and the record of how it got there — every grant, purchase, export and refund — the identifiers our payment provider knows you by, a count of the exports you have made, and the last few addresses you submitted so the field can offer them back to you.
How long we keep it
The finished video, its poster image and the intermediate capture behind it are deleted about an hour after they are made — long enough to download one and no longer. The record of the render outlasts the file: the address, the settings, the IP hash and the timestamps stay in our database after the video is gone. Account data lasts as long as the account does.
Signing in
Sign-in is Google and nothing else, so there is no password here to lose. Google tells us your name, email address and profile picture; we never see your Google password and cannot read anything else in your account. Your session lives in a cookie your browser will not hand to scripts, and signing out clears it.
Paying
Polar is the merchant of record and takes the payment. Card numbers never reach our servers — we could not see one if we wanted to. We give Polar your account id and email address so the order can be attached to you, and we store what comes back: the customer and order identifiers, which pack was bought, and the credits it added to your balance.
Cookies, and what your browser keeps
No advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, no third-party trackers, no pixels. The only cookies we set are the ones that keep you signed in, plus a short-lived one during the round trip to Google. Your theme, your language, your recent addresses and any work in progress in the studio are kept by your browser and never sent to us.
Pages we visit for you
When you submit an address we load that page from our own servers using a headless browser. The site you point us at will see that visit in its logs, originating from our infrastructure rather than from you. We refuse addresses that resolve inside a private network, and we block the page from loading common analytics and advertising hosts.
Your download
There is no sharing from this site: the finished video is yours to download and nothing else. The download is a signed link that expires, and the file behind it is deleted about an hour after it is made, so the link stops working either way. Download anything you want to keep.
Who else handles it
Four companies, each doing one job. Cloudflare hosts the site and runs the browser that reads your page, and keeps request logs for us. Supabase holds the database and runs the sign-in. Polar takes payments. Google identifies you when you sign in. We sell nothing to anybody and there is no fifth party.
Your data, your call
Write to support@websitescrollvideo.com and ask for a copy of what we hold on you, a correction to it, or its deletion, and we will do it. Deleting your account takes your profile, your usage counts and your recent addresses with it, and unlinks the renders you made. We do this by hand, so give us a few days.
